Nanopositioning Systems Mad City Labs' nanopositioning systems move and maintain the position of objects with sub-nanometer precision and high stability. Applications for nanopositioners include super resolution microscopy, high speed confocal imaging, AFM, NSOM, SPM, optical trapping, fiber positioning, single molecule spectroscopy, single molecule/particle tracking, high resolution optical alignment, nanoscopy and lithography. Micropostioning Systems Mad City Labs micropositioning stages are designed to complement our high precision nanopositioning systems. Our micropositioning stages provide extended range of motion and are designed to provide a stable platform for our nanopositioners. Our product line includes high precision manual stages and fully automated, programmable stages for use with optical microscopes or stand-alone instruments. Instrument Solutions High precision motion is often the cornerstone of research grade instruments. Mad City Labs has developed instrument components for metrology that ease integration and assist users with developing and adapting instrumentation for their own application requirements. Our experienced sales and engineering team can assist you further with the right solution for your application. Piezoactuators Multilayer piezoactuators offer precise motion, low energy consumption, fast response times and high force, can be used in a variety of applications and environments, e.g. AFM, fiber positioning, valves, medical nanotechnology, and metrology. Piezoactuators offer considerable advantages although applications that require guided or repeatable motion are best served by our high precision, closed loop nanopositioning systems. We offer a standard range of 150V piezoactuators. In addition we can supply custom designed piezoactuators. Our piezoactuators can be controlled using our PA25 Amplifier for optimum performance. |
